Be found by people ready to ask.
SEO is about showing up when someone nearby searches for what you do, and giving them a good reason to get in touch. I focus on practical, ethical work that improves how your site is found and how often visits turn into enquiries.
You do not appear for the searches that matter
Customers search for a service and a place. If your pages do not clearly cover both, competitors take those enquiries.
Your site has technical issues you cannot see
Slow pages, broken links, duplicate content or missing basics quietly hold back visibility on both Google and phones.
Your Google Business Profile is incomplete
For local services, the map listing often matters as much as the website. Weak profiles lose calls and direction requests.
Past SEO has been vague or unaccountable
Reports full of rankings and jargon but no enquiries leave you paying for activity rather than outcomes.
What the first 90 days look like.
Weeks 1 to 2: audit
I review your site, your Google Business Profile and the search results in your area, then list problems in order of likely impact.
Weeks 3 to 6: foundations
Fix titles, descriptions, headings, speed and broken links. Complete the Google Business Profile and make sure key service and town pages exist.
Weeks 7 to 12: content and visibility
Improve or add the pages and guides that answer real customer questions, and begin steady, genuine review requests.
Ongoing: monthly
Fresh content or page improvements, Google Business Profile updates, a review of Search Console and enquiries, and a short report on what changed and what is next.
Who makes the changes
On sites I build or host, I make the changes directly. On other platforms I either work with your developer, giving them a clear specification, or ask for the access needed to do it myself.
What I need from you
Access to your website and Google Business Profile, an hour at the start to talk through your services, and prompt answers when I need facts, photos or approvals.

What counts as an enquiry?
SEO takes time to show results, so we separate early signals from real enquiries.
Measurement also depends on cookie consent, browser privacy settings and platform limits, so attribution is never perfect. Reports say what was counted and what could not be.
- Form submissions
- Enquiries sent through the website form. These are counted directly and are the most dependable measure.
- Connected calls
- Calls that actually reached you. These need call tracking or platform call reporting, and short or missed calls are separated out.
- Phone and WhatsApp link clicks
- Someone tapped a number or link. This shows interest, not a conversation, so it is reported separately from real enquiries.
- Qualified leads
- Enquiries you tell me were genuine and relevant. This depends on your feedback, and it is what lets targeting improve.
I do not promise rankings, enquiry numbers or returns. Results depend on your market, budget, competition and the strength of your offer and website. What I promise is careful work, clear reporting and honesty when something is not working.
How it runs.

Works well for
- Local and regional firms that win work from search
- Businesses with a site that needs fixing before more traffic helps
- People happy to invest over months, not days
Probably not right for
- Anyone who wants guaranteed page-one results
- Businesses needing results in a few weeks with no ongoing effort
- National campaigns in very competitive markets on a small budget
How pricing is structured.
Pricing is agreed in writing before any work starts, so you know what you are committing to.
- One-off audit
- A written review and prioritised fix list, suitable if you or your developer can make the changes.
- Ongoing SEO
- A monthly arrangement covering the improvements, content and reporting above.
- Website changes
- Included where I maintain the site, otherwise agreed with whoever manages it.
About SEO.
How long does SEO take to work?
Technical fixes and Google Business Profile improvements can show effects within weeks. Content and authority take longer, often several months. The timescale depends on your competition and the starting condition of your site.
Do you guarantee first-page rankings?
No. Nobody outside Google can guarantee a ranking. I will show what I am doing and why, report what is happening to visibility and enquiries, and tell you when something is not working.
Do I need a new website for SEO?
Not always. If the current site is sound, SEO can build on it. If it is slow, hard to edit or poorly structured, a rebuild may be better value. I will say which applies after the audit.
Is SEO a one-off job or monthly?
Either. A one-off audit and fix list suits businesses with a developer or the time to implement changes. Ongoing monthly work suits those who want continuing improvement and reporting.
