North Digital

Privacy notice

North Digital is a trading name of North Computers (UK) Ltd, 1A Pinfold Street, Howden DN14 7DE (company number 08351081). We are the controller of the personal data described below. Last updated 29 October 2026.

What we collect

Enquiry form: your name, email address and message, and your phone number if you choose to give one. The server also records your IP address and the time you sent the form, to prevent spam.

Visiting the site: our web server keeps technical logs (such as IP address, pages requested and browser type) for security and fault-finding, and keeps them for a limited period.

Phone, email and WhatsApp: if you contact us this way, we receive whatever you send, including your number or address.

Why we use it

To reply to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to provide the service you ask for. Our legal bases are taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interests in running a business, keeping the site secure and preventing spam.

Who processes it

We do not sell your data. We use these providers to run the site and handle enquiries:

  • Cloudflare provides DNS, security and delivery for the site, so it handles visitors’ IP addresses and requests. It may process data outside the UK, under its own safeguards.
  • Our web hosting provider runs the server in London on which the site and its logs are stored.
  • Rackspace Email carries the enquiry emails we send and receive. It may also process data outside the UK, under its own safeguards.

If you choose to message us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp’s own privacy policy applies to that conversation.

Cookies and fonts

We do not set cookies ourselves, and this site has no analytics or advertising scripts. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie. Fonts are hosted on this site, so loading them does not send your details to a third party. If we add analytics or advertising tools in future, we will ask for your consent first and update this notice.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become work are deleted after 12 months. Records of work are kept as long as the law requires for accounting. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time by emailing [email protected]. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
